Self-Assessment

    Blogging about human trafficking has been a very informative process. In doing research, I found out that human trafficking is a very serious problem. Many people do not know it, but the United States is a very high trafficking destination. That type of valuable information and more can be found on my blog, and in posting such information I am able to get the word out to people and make them more aware.
      I believe I am contributing to finding a solution to this problem because I am getting the word out. Because my blog is online and easily accessible, many people can read it and find out information. My
analysis and critique of the information I find provides insight into the growing problem of human trafficking. Not many people are aware of what actually goes on in the human trafficking business, and I think I am putting the information out there in a great way through new media.
     Through new media and my blog I am openly addressing the problem of human trafficking, but my blog could always be better. I believe I can improve upon my blog by making it worldlier. I can incorporate other cultures and show how they are affected by human trafficking. Overall, I enjoy
blogging. I am interested in the subject matter and enjoy doing research and reporting my findings through blogging. My one weakness is that sometimes I do not critique the information I find. It is easier for me to just report my findings, and I find myself doing that very often. My major strength is that I cover different aspects of human trafficking, and as the time goes on, I hope to continue with my blog and inform more people about human trafficking.
